I was born with aniridia in Madison, Wisconsin USA. My grandparents were from Norway & Czech Republic. I have had many cornea transplants and cadarac’s removed in 1986 & 1987. After they were removed I had numerous cornea’s in both eyes and were done here in California. Now the last few years I had the Boston K-pro’s put in both eyes. The last year I had membranes removed from both retina’s. Sadly my eyes are getting worse! I would love to hear from anyone that has lived with my eye problem or has had the Boston K-Pro’s put in there eyes or is a doctor from any country that could give me some advise or comfort. I am 66 years old. I also have 4 children with my eye condition and two of them are totally blind already. Thank you for any advice or imput.

Dear Edna: I am sorry I had not read your previous e-mail, giving more details about your situation. We do not know people with aniridai who have been operated in Boston with the same method. May be the International Aniridia Foundation can help you, because it is seated in USA. But as soon as we know more about this, we will let you know. Wish you the best and keep in contact. Best regards.Rsoa
