A new research project on health-related quality of life in adults with aniridia in Norway is in the starting phase, in close collaboration with Aniridia Norway and a research team at Oslo University Hospital, composed by Solrun Sigurdardottir, PhD, Charlotte von der Lippe, PhD, and Erlend S. Landsend, PhD.
The planned start-up with recruitment is in April 2022. This is a prospective study describing quality of life, mental health, fatigue, sleepiness, pain and cognitive symptoms in individuals with aniridia. We are planning to start on the writing process of two articles in the autumn 2022, with the focus on the relationship between somatic and mental symptoms and quality of life.
